Aerospace Information Session

This video includes the information session that is available every month on campus. If you are not able to attend the session in person, or if it is already full, you can get the same information here. Learn more about our program and the opportunities available to undergraduate students in the aerospace engineering major.

Low Speed Lab

This video includes an overview of the subsonic wind tunnel and the labs that are run in the tunnel during the undergraduate Low-Speed Aerodynamics Laboratory course (ASE 120K).  Each of the assignments of the lab are highlighted and explained.  This wind tunnel is also used by various student groups and research projects at both the undergraduate and graduate level.

High Speed Lab

This video includes an overview of the supersonic wind tunnel and the labs that are run in the tunnel during the undergraduate High-Speed Aerodynamics Laboratory course (ASE 162M). Several examples are given for the labs that are run in this tunnel.  This wind tunnel is also used by research projects at both the undergraduate and graduate level.

Water Tunnel

This video includes an overview of the low-speed water tunnel and the labs that are run in the tunnel during the undergraduate Low-Speed Aerodynamics Laboratory course (ASE 120K). Several examples are given for the labs that are run in this tunnel. This water tunnel is also used by research projects at both the undergraduate and graduate level.

Aerospace Materials Lab

This video includes an overview of the materials laboratory. One example is demonstrated to show an experiment run during the undergraduate Aerospace Materials Laboratory course (ASE 324L). This laboratory is also used by research projects at both the undergraduate and graduate level.

Ballistics Range

This video includes an overview of the ballistics range and the labs that are run during the undergraduate High-Speed Aerodynamics Laboratory course (ASE 162M).  A demonstration is given to show how the range is used during this lab experiment.
